Shixin: Responding to customer needs, extending to 7nm process

Cooperation with Chinese customers is expected to extend to 7nm next year.

Shixin pointed out that this year, the customer NRE mainly adopts 16 nanometers in the manufacturing process. It is expected that next year, driven by AI and HPC (high-performance computing), chip performance requirements will increase. Many customers have chosen to use the 7 nanometer process. And it is expected that some cases can be designed and finalized next year, with a single case value of more than 15 million US dollars (about NT $ 460 million), which is significantly more than 16 nanometers. It is expected that the annual revenue and profit will be indicated.

 

Creativity: AI, edge computing drive revenue
Chuangyi ’s virtual currency orders are out this year, and the consumer market ’s recovery is slower than expected. M31: AI products based, advanced process IP with high-speed interface will contribute revenue
According to the manufacturing process, M31's revenue ratio below 28 nm this year is nearly 60%, which is an increase of about 30 percentage points from last year. Among them, 22/28 nm has a complete IP layout, and its revenue ratio is approximately 48%, 12/14/16 nm. The meter is about 11%, and the first 7nm IP will be released next year, showing the M31's determination to continue advancing to advanced processes.

In terms of product applications, M31 is mainly AI-based, accounting for 25%, followed by storage, IoT, and automobiles.
